No trip to Oxford,is complete,(if your an artist), without a trip to Annie Sloan's so....
I forgot to mention that when I was in Oxford this last May I went to the shoppe a few times for supplies. Annie happened to be in France on a buying trip so I wasn't able to meet her, but my husband talked to her, his last visit, and said she was delightful.
The Shoppe is darling inside...just perfect
The girls that worked there were very knowledgeable and allowed me to take
a couple of pictures of her studio and where classes are taught.
Having a son, daughter in law and grand-kids living in England is tough to handle, at times, because their so far away. The good thing is, it forces you to visit, and that makes up for everything!
I couldn't be prouder visiting Oxford University seeing my son, Lars, a Geophysicist, at his job. He is a Professor in the Earth Sciences Department, and his wife Elissa works at the Oxford University Press where she is a Production Editor, and of course hugging and smothering with kisses, the Two Little American Princes,"Tor" and "Col".
